Victor Vina. La Palma. 1975

Originally trained as an industrial designer, he completed his studies
at the Computer Related Design department of the Royal College
of Art in London. During year 2000 he collaborates with Mediamatic, Amsterdam. From 2001 to 2003 he holds a research position at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy. He is currently a visiting researcher at Elisava Escola Superior de Disseny, Barcelona. Victor recently directed a workshop at Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne.

After developing software which utilizes the potential of the web as a source of dynamic content, during the last years he goes back to the tangible, creating systems, objects and installations that integrate the real and the virtual, exploring the role of the artist/designer as a mediator between people and digital networks.
